.: Welcome
Birchwood Highland is a charity dedicated to the recovery, inclusion and independence of some of the Highlands' most vulnerable adults and young people.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with mental health issues and complex needs by promoting recovery, inclusion and independence.
We work with individuals to help them to manage their difficulties, recover, and lead the best lives possible with friends, jobs and families.
We provide residential support and outreach support covering Inverness, Ross-shire, Lochaber and Caithness.

To John O'Groats via 5 countries
On Monday 8th September Tina Bruce and her team of cyclists set off from Lands End for a gruelling bike ride to John O'Groats, passing through not only England and Scotland, but also Wales, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
In doing so, the Five Countries Bike Ride raised funds for Birchwood Highland and Highland Breast Care Association. They're now planning a celebratory ceilidh in December to present cheques to the charities and thank their sponsors - date and venue to appear here shortly.
You can read about the team's experiences on the Five Countries Challenge blogspot .
